Crestar Education Group’s (CEG) preschool arm, Skool4Kidz, continues to strengthen its position in bilingual early childhood education through another proud achievement on the national stage.
On 9 May 2026, educators and children from Skool4Kidz Campus @ Sengkang Riverside Park received the Special Commendation Award at the 2026 Thumbs Up Little Junior Chinese Nursery Rhyme Creation and Performance Competition.

Chosen as one of only 11 finalists from 462 submissions across Singapore, the team impressed judges and audiences with their original performance, I Want Younger Siblings (我想要弟弟妹妹). The lively performance stood out for its humour, creativity and relatable family theme.
The song was written by Skool4Kidz Senior Curriculum Executive, Ms Xiao Xiaohua and inspired by her young daughter’s wish for a younger sibling. Through meaningful lyrics and a child’s perspective, the composition reflected themes of companionship and family life in Singapore.
The children’s confident stage presence and expressive performance showcased the strong bilingual foundation nurtured at Skool4Kidz. Their energy and creativity resonated strongly with both judges and audience members.

The performance was later featured by Chinese newspaper Zaobao, further recognising the children and educators for bringing warmth, creativity and local culture to the Singapore stage.
