Crestar Learning Centre (CLC) has signed a licensing agreement with Yamaha Music (Asia) to offer the flagship Yamaha Primary Course for 3 to 5.5 year olds. This milestone marks the official return of Crestar Learning Centre as a Yamaha Music School Licensee, at the Crestar Learning Hub in Marine Parade. Crestar Learning Centre is the Enrichment Division of Crestar Education Group.

The agreement was formally signed on 10 July 2026 at Yamaha Plaza Singapura by Ms. Kwan Peck Leng, Group Managing Director of Crestar Education Group, and Mr. Yoshinori Sasaki, Managing Director of Yamaha Music (Asia). Witnessing the signing were Mr. Robert Leong Yuen Li, Group Chief Operating Officer of Crestar Education Group, and Mr. Stephen Chia, Division Leader of the Yamaha Music School Division.

As shared by Mr. Shane Cheok, Deputy Division Leader of the Music School Division at Yamaha, “This is not just a business agreement; it is a homecoming. It is a historic moment that honours our past while eagerly embracing our future.”
This renewed collaboration was made possible by Mr. Yoshinori Sasaki, who treasured the synergy between CEG and Yamaha. He strongly supported this homecoming and played a key role in consolidating a long-standing alliance. The agreement is especially meaningful as Yamaha Music (Asia) celebrates its 60th anniversary this year, while Crestar Education Group looks forward to its 50th anniversary next year.
Yamaha Music School is no stranger to the Marine Parade community, having served many families from 1976 to 2008. The reunion also holds deep personal significance for Ms. Kwan and Mr. Robert Leong, who were formerly part of the senior management team at Yamaha Music (Asia).
The collaboration underscores both organisations’ dedication to providing premium educational experiences and expanding access to high-quality music education for young learners across Singapore.
