As Singapore celebrated its 61st National Day, children from Kinderland, a preschool brand under Crestar Education Group (CEG), took centre stage at three National Day Observance Ceremonies (NDOCs) on 7 August 2026, marking the occasion through music, movement and storytelling.
Hosted by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Ministry of National Development (MND) and Ministry of Transport (MOT), the ceremonies gave the children opportunities to perform beyond the classroom and connect with the wider community.
At MOM’s NDOC, children from Kinderland Preschool @ Ministry of Manpower brought Singapore’s past and present to life through a skit exploring everyday life, including the evolution of transport and homes, as well as the contributions of Samsui women and early migrant labourers to Singapore’s development.
They also performed a medley of National Day songs accompanied by the pianica.

Inspired by this year’s National Day theme, “Majulah Singapura, Go Beyond!”, the performance explored Singapore’s heritage, multicultural harmony, iconic landmarks and hopes for the future through music, dance, storytelling and pianica. The ceremony was attended by Minister for Transport, Mr Jeffrey Siow.

These opportunities reflect CEG’s commitment to nurturing confident, creative and engaged young learners through learning experiences beyond the classroom.
