After 15 years of operation on 587 Upper Serangoon Road, the Crestar Building, leased from Singapore Land Authority (SLA), will be returned to the government for a purposeful endeavour. The old Serangoon ground was home to many infants and preschoolers from Kinderland Preschool and ELFA Preschool, and adults attending training in KLC International Institute (KLC II) and HSK Centre (Crestar).

Reported in The Straits Times, the Serangoon site which is located opposite Nex shopping mall, will be for the next Singapore’s biggest polyclinic. The polyclinic shall have a kidney dialysis centre and is expected to have other facilities and amenities such as a daycare facility, parks and malls over the next few years. Crestar is glad that the land will be redesigned for intended community use to benefit residents of Serangoon.

Kinderland and ELFA have officially relocated to Hougang and operations on Serangoon has ceased since March 2021, next to Kovan MRT Station. Both Kinderland and ELFA saw a smooth transition of their children and teachers to the new premise, adjusting and adapting well to the new environment. Kinderland will continue to serve quality infant and preschool music-infused education programmes to preschoolers. ELFA continues to cater strong Chinese-focused bilingual education and build a love for the language through a culturally rich learning environment in the early learners.
