Themed ‘Building Partnerships, Bridges to The Family & Community’ this year, the aim of the event was to reinforce the importance of sustainable and effective partnerships between the school and community which includes teachers, families, and students. The full-day event began with a quick address by Operations Director, Mr. Timothy Chan and Curriculum Founder Dr Jane Ching-Kwan.

Designation Lecturer of Department Early Childhood & Special Needs Education (ECSE), Dr Mercy Karuniah was keynote speaker for the day. Her speech ‘Engaging Parents: A Practical Approach’, highlighted the importance of a parent’s involvement in their child’s growth and development.

Following Dr Karuniah’s speech were break-out sessions where staff were separated into different function rooms to discuss topics such as strategies of supporting and communication with families, the development and learning for toddlers and infants, among other topics.
