On April 2015, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Nepal. The quake affected much of the mountainous country, resulting in a death toll of more than 9,000 people and leaving at least 23,000 injured. Many of the survivors were in dire need of water, medication and food. In a bid to help the victims of the Gorkha Earthquake, Kinderland organized a 2-week fund-raising drive to provide aid to the victims of the Nepal disaster. From the kind donations of staff, parents and children, Kinderland managed to raise $18,000, all of which was forwarded to the Singapore Red Cross Society.

At Kinderland, we aim not only to equip our students with the skills and knowledge that they will need to be capable citizens, but also focus on instilling compassion in our children. Through this fund-raising drive, we hope that our students become considerate towards others in need.
