On 25 July 2026, 138 Kindergarten 1 children from all seven NurtureStars preschools came together with their families and educators at the Singapore Institute of Management Sports Hall for our annual NurtureStars Sports Fiesta. The event provided a platform for children to showcase their physical skills. Their families also had the opportunity to cheer and celebrate their children’s learning and achievements.

We were honoured to welcome distinguished guests from JACPA Corporation including:

  • Mr Satoshi Shigeta, Managing Director

Their presence highlighted the strong partnership between NurtureStars and JACPA in supporting children’s physical development through purposeful movement and play. A highlight of the programme was a showcase of the JACPA Physical Education programme, which is integrated into the NurtureStars core curriculum. Guided by JACPA’s native Japanese instructors, our children demonstrated the physical skills and exercises they have been learning.

Through structured and purposeful movement activities, the programme supports children in developing physical literacy, while nurturing confidence, discipline, perseverance and a positive attitude towards an active and healthy lifestyle.

Parents also joined their children in the day’s activities. Fathers participated in a lively tug-of-war while mothers joined an inflatable animal float demonstration.  These activities created opportunities for families to have fun together while encouraging teamwork and an active lifestyle.

At NurtureStars, our annual Sports Fiesta is a meaningful celebration of learning through movement, bringing together children, families, educators and JACPA instructors to support our children’s holistic development.
