In Singapore, Kinderland is renowned for its music-infused curriculum, and its kindergartens in China reflect this same focus. On December 28th, Kinderland Preschool @ Xiamen held a special Outdoors Musical Extravaganza, aptly titled “Memory Lane”.

The cosplay-themed concert featured performances and artistic costumes from all 208 of its children. Remarkably, the event’s photo album garnered over a hundred and ten thousand views online!

Our amazingly talented little hosts, supported by their teachers, open the concert with their witty dialogue.

The “Memory Lane” concert aimed to create wonderful memories for the children while helping parents and the audience recall their cherished childhood moments.

A heart thumping performance by Kinderland’s marching band

The unique Kinderland Preschool Marching Band from Xiamen delivered a captivating performance. The band consisting of 14 six-year-olds amazed the audience, with their precise and coordinated routines, as marching bands are typically performed by older age groups.

Our children put on one exciting item after another, showcasing what they have learnt in Kinderland.

The concert included a variety of exciting acts, such as traditional song and dance, African drums, and short dramatic plays. The children’s colourful and diverse costumes added to the celebration, showcasing the Kinderland team’s originality.

A festive atmosphere suffused the Musical Extravaganza.

The overwhelming support from the local Kinderland parents helped showcase the growth of the children, achieved through Kinderland’s music-infused curriculum. In addition to musical performances, the curriculum also weaved music into programmes such as fitness, art, and environmental learning. This holistic approach helps children experience much more in their early years, a crucial period for their growth and development.
