In a year marked by growth and reflection, Kinderland Malaysia Annual Business Meeting (ABM) for 2024 brought together the principals and business partners of Kinderland Malaysia to discuss the company’s strategic direction. The event, held at Avante Hotel, Malaysia, underscored the company’s dedication to elevating and evolving in a preschool competitive landscape. The event was graced by the participation of personnels from Kinderland International Education (KIE), Mr Robert Leong, Director and Chief Executive Officer, Dr Carol Loy, Senior Director of Curriculum and Professional Development and Ms Vanessa De Silva, Senior Manager for Parents Relations and Enrolment. Joining them were Ms Lam Meng Kuan, Senior Manager for Quality Assurance of Crestar Education Group and Mr Desmond Seah, Vice President of Business Development of KLC International Institute.
With this year’s theme, ‘Elevate and Evolve,’ Ms Tay Mian Jee, General Manager of Kinderland Malaysia, led her team through a sharing of the business progress and steps forward plans. One of the key focuses of the meeting was the enhancement of the learning environment and curriculum. This included environment refresh project and introduction of new programmes for young children. These initiatives aim to provide a more engaging and enriching educational experience for preschoolers.
Looking ahead, Kinderland Malaysia has outlined several expansion plans within the preschool industry. This growth strategy complements the focus on quality control, with an emphasis on continuous improvement of teaching practices and curriculum delivery. Several key moments during the event highlighted Kinderland’s focus on quality assurance. Mr Desmond Seah alongside Mr Kesshan Mahadevan from HRDC, led a vital sharing session on the importance of continuous teacher training and encouraged educators to continue their professional development regularly.
Ms Vanessa De Silva alongside with our Ms Sapphira Sze (Kinderland Malaysia) held an important session on the Child Management Monitoring System and the policy on the Whistleblowing System. These initiatives are critical to ensuring a safe environment for both children and staff.
