Themed “Rise Stronger: Embracing Challenges and Diversity”, Kinderland and ELFA Day 2024 (KED 2024) delved into how our unity and resilience is integral to us overcoming adversity. Held at Universal Studios Signapore, the event was attended by almost 250 members of our Kinderland and ELFA family!
Expert Seminar on Nurturing Children with Learning Differences
We welcomed Dr Chiah Wan Yeng, Director of Academic Affairs and Child Psychologist at UCSI Child Development Centre. She shared her insights on the important role educators play in identifying and nurturing learning differences of preschoolers.
The seminar presented comprehensive valuable insights for our educators. This includes an observational checklist for identifying learning differences, signs of common disorders, and supporting parents of children with learning differences sensitively. This enables that preschoolers receive timely intervention if necessary, minimising learning gaps.
