Crestar Group’s three preschool brands Kinderland, Skool4Kidz, and NurtureStars celebrated new milestone achievements at the inaugural Early Childhood Celebrations 2022 (ECC 2022). The inaugural ECC was held by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) on 29 October.
ECC 2022 saw ECDA combining its three key excellence EC events for the first time into one – the ECDA Awards for Excellence in EC Development, Singapore Preschool Accreditation Framework (SPARK) Certificate Presentation Ceremony and Start Small, Dream Big (SSDB).
The ECDA Awards for Excellence for EC Development recognises exemplary early childhood (EC) educators, professionals, leaders, and centres that have excelled in teaching, and learning and innovative practice. The Group’s award recipients were:
Early Childhood Innovation Award (Commendation) – Kinderland Academy @ Yio Chu Kang, Young Master Builder Project
Outstanding Centre for Teaching & Learning Award (Finalist) – Skool4Kidz Campus @ Sengkang Riverside Park

Five of the Group’s preschools were also presented with the SPARK Certificate. Three achieved the higher-level SPARK Commendation. SPARK is a quality assurance framework that recognises preschools’ efforts to continually enhance young children’s holistic development and well-being. The SPARK recipients were:

This has brought the number of SPARK-certified Skool4Kidz centres to 18 out of its total of 20 centres. NurtureStars Preschools has all its six centres now SPARK-certified.
These achievements capped an outstanding year for our Group’s preschools.
