KLCII has introduced its first Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training programme that’s open to all teachers in the preschool sector in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The CPD workshop on “Discipline & Behaviour Guidance for Preschoolers” was conducted in collaboration with Multimatics, an established consulting, training, and certification institution in Indonesia, on 15 September 2018.

Held at the Multimatics auditorium in AXA Tower, South Jakarta, it was attended by 23 teachers from four child care centres in the capital city.

The workshop explored proactive strategies, possible reasons for children’s misbehaviour, positive discipline techniques for teachers to apply while attending to and managing children’s behaviour and responding appropriately to those “communication”.

It was conducted by KLCII lecturer Anizah Bte Mohd Saleh, Med (EC), BS (Child & Family), who has been with the early childhood industry for the last 35 years.
