One Year of Growth and Global Learning

TGIS opened one year ago with a clear mission: to provide a values-driven, international education that prepares young people for a fast-changing world. Since then, the student community has doubled. This growth shows strong family confidence in academics, global readiness, and a nurturing learning environment.

Ambassador Teo explored innovative early childhood education, where preschoolers learn coding as part of a future-ready curriculum.

Ambassador Teo acknowledged the strong collaboration between Singapore and Cambodia. She highlighted the growing exchange in education and culture, and recognized the role of schools in strengthening international understanding. She noted that Singapore education is well regarded in Cambodia and the demand for Singapore-affiliated schools continues to grow. She expressed her delight that TG International School and Kinderland Preschool are contributing to this development in Cambodia.

In her address, Ambassador Teo commended the strong Singapore-Cambodia partnership in education and culture.

Showcasing Student Achievements on the Global Stage

The event celebrated impressive school achievements over the past year. TGIS students showcased their talents at the ASEAN Bazaar 2025, while high school students contributed to meaningful projects like the SG60 commemorative book. A team of students proudly represented Cambodia at the 2025 Malaysia Techlympics, earning recognition for their discipline, teamwork, and innovative thinking.

Beyond academics, TG International School nurtures empathy and service leadership. Students raised funds for Operation Hope Foundation to support vulnerable children in Cambodia.

A mini ensemble of students lit up the celebration through music.

High school students set up fundraiser booths to spread the festive cheer.

Commitment to Future-Ready Skills and Global Awareness

The celebration reinforced the school’s commitment to equip every learner with strong values, global awareness, and future-ready skills. With Singapore education standards, Cambridge pathways, and real-world experiences, TGIS builds a culture of curiosity, creativity, and purpose.
