Kinderland International Education (KIE) has forged a new partnership with Bright Early Learning Centre (Bright ELC) of Melbourne, Australia. This heralds a new era as it marks KIE’s first inroads into the Australian market.
Established in 2011, Bright ELC is located in one of Australia’s most populated suburbs, Glen Waverley. Serving a community of international families, the centre has a built-up area of about 560 sqm, with a capacity for 71 children in 6 classrooms. Bright ELC has an ample outdoor play space including a sand play area, cubby house, Aboriginal learning corner, musical wall, vegetable patch and more.
For over 40 years, KIE has been on a strong growth trajectory, having established itself in eight Asia-Pacific countries (Singapore, Australia, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Bangladesh) with more than 80 centres. Besides its quality infant care and preschool services, KIE has grown to greater heights with more core businesses such as an international primary school and a human capital development arm.
Mr Robert Leong, Chief Executive Officer, KIE, said “This partnership is a significant step forward in growing our international footprint. We identify with the vision and values that Bright ELC upholds as both are passionate about offering the highest standard of care in empowering young minds to realise their highest potential.”
Mrs Mei Leong, Founder and Centre Director, Bright ELC, believes that this shared conviction makes for a meaningful alliance. “Through Kinderland’s breadth of experience and regional network, we will glean best practices and bolster our e-learning resources to enhance our services. We aim to offer culturally diverse programmes to widen the children’s exposure and up the ante of our educators’ professional expertise and career growth.”
The collaborative synergies hold potential for cross-cultural and cross-border knowledge exchanges to develop global-minded children. The future is indeed bright for KIE and Bright ELC. Both are well-poised to spearhead innovative learning to shape 21st century skillsets that are crucial to developing our future learners and leaders.
