Children at NurtureStars @ SAFRA Punggol can literally dive into class everyday, as the latest preschool to be opened in the reservist association’s sixth and latest clubhouse boasts of the ‘first-of-its-kind’ indoor water playground.
With the commencement of operation on 1st April 2016, NurtureStars @ SAFRA Punggol became the only preschool in Singapore to offer the children free access to Splash @ Kidz Amaze*. This “Enchanted Deep Sea” indoor water playland features a three-storey-high play deck with 5 slides and a themed splash pad spread over 24,000 square feet.
The latest educational collaboration between Kinderland Educare Services Pte Ltd and Singapore Armed Forces Reservist Association (SAFRA) features 8,000 square feet of early childhood care and education space. It has been designed with an eco-focused theme and provides the children with an environment-friendly learning experience.

There are specially-designated spaces for sports, physical development and play, as part of NurtureStars’ unique Active Learning Curriculum. In the pipeline is the formation of the tripartite partnership (parent, child and school) to inculcate eco-friendly values using natural resources within the clubhouse.
Response for enrolment in the preschool was overwhelming. More than 100 parents and children attended the Mass Orientation Session & School Tour in March to learn more about the school facilities, curriculum and programme.
