Kinderland Preschool@ Ministry of National Development (MND) was honoured to participate in the National Day celebration held at Kreta Ayer Community Centre on 24 August 2024. Joining them was Minister for Digital Development and Information of Singapore, Mrs Josephine Teo.

The vibrant National Day Carnival brought together over 300 elderlies for a morning dedicated to healthy aging. Kinderland’s coding booth featuring Bee Bot allowed the elderlies to explore coding in an engaging manner, strengthening intergenerational coherence and bond.

A highlight of the event was a series of musical performance by our Kinderland children. They presented cheerful songs, including the Kinderland song, “Rasa Sayang,” “We Are Singapore,”. They also presented a musical ensemble from “The Sound of Music,” using instruments like the pianica, triangles, bells, and castanets.

Another highlight was an Active SG workout with Minister Teo and the elderlies, led by our Kinderland children, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie. The event culminated in a heartfelt rendition of the National Anthem and the Singapore Pledge in both English and Chinese in which our children led with pride.
The crowd cheered an encore for our children’s performances, beefing our children’s confidence and pride. As a token of appreciation, our Kinderland children presented Minister Teo with a special artwork, symbolizing an ever-striving Singapore.
