After spending 2 weeks visiting preschools in Singapore, doing 4 masterclasses and speaking as keynote and panelist at KLC’s events, Professor Adele Diamond, a world-renowned Tier 1 Canada Research Chair and global authority in developmental cognitive neuroscience, joined the KLCII International Advisory Board.
During her visit, Professor Diamond inspired parents, educators and education leaders, healthcare professionals with her pioneering work which has been central to shaping our modern understanding of executive function (EF) – particularly in children. She is the first to link EF to the prefrontal cortex and to study how EFs are influenced by biology, environments and interventions such as play, mindfulness and education. Her work spans cognitive psychology, neuroscience, child development, and education, making her highly influential across disciplines, and frequently cited as a leading global authority in global executive function research.

“It is wonderful to see a teacher training institution so aligned with both science and compassion. I am honoured to join the International Advisory Board.”
