NurtureStars’ K2 graduands of 2024 performed a heartwarming and lively musical of The Hare and the Tortoise at SIM Performing Arts Theatre on 27 November. All 138 K2 children performed in this creative twist on a classic fable about friendship and perseverance. The play was filled with catchy songs, adorable costumes, and cheerful choreography that showcased the children’s creativity and hard work.
An eventful graduation saw the children receive their graduation scrolls, proudly cheered on by 450 family members and guests. Teachers presented each scroll with heartfelt congratulations, recognizing the unique growth and potential of every child. The scrolls symbolized not only the completion of their preschool journey in NurtureStars, but also the beginning of exciting adventures ahead.
The highlight of the performance was the final song, “Not Alone,” where all the children joined in, singing about the power of friendship and determination. The message resonated with everyone in the audience, drawing a resounding applause.
Parents beamed with pride as they watched their little ones shine on stage, delivering lines and moves with confidence. Teachers were equally thrilled, knowing how much effort the children put into rehearsing their parts and learning life lessons from the tale.
The event was a wonderful reminder that every small step, much like the Tortoise’s steady pace, leads to meaningful milestones. It was clear that The Hare and the Tortoise was more than just a performance—it was a joyful celebration of friendship, perseverance, and an amazing journey in NurtureStars preschool.
