Crestar Education Group will invest a total of S$13.2 million to open two 18-classroom preschools in the cities of Foshan and Zhuhai in Guangdong Province. The company signed separate agreements for the building of two mega preschool centres with Singapore developers Mapletree Investments and Yanlord Land Group during the 7th Singapore-Guangdong Collaborative Council meeting held in Guangzhou on 30th July, 2015
The preschools will operate under the ELFA and Kinderland brand respectively and will accommodate 500 children each. They are expected to be operational by end-2016.
Mapletree will build the Crestar’s ELFA preschool on a 5,400 square metre site in their Nanhai Business City in Foshan’s Nanhai district. The Nanhai Business City is a mixed use development project of over 600 mu with residential towers for 5,000 households, a VivoCity shopping mall, offices and a 45,000 square metre International Learning Hub.
In Zhuhai, Yanlord Land Group will build the Kinderland preschool on a 4,650 square metre land area. It wll be located in a residential and commercial development in Zhuhai city’s Tang Jiawan New Town.
